Jason Fraler
Managing Partner & Founder
Mr. Fraler brings together a unique combination of industry experience and financial expertise to his role as Managing Partner & Founder of Anchor Peabody.
A building industry veteran, Mr. Fraler’s experience includes co-founding multiple companies, including both industry-focused PE firm Building Industry Partners and US LBM Holdings, a $2 billion company consolidator of lumberyards and other building products operations with 3,900 associates located in 22 states with 160 locations, sold to New York-based private equity firm Kelso & Company August 2015. His expertise includes sourcing, negotiating, and refining and executing investment approaches, and his deep industry expertise has brought outsized returns for his clients.
Mr. Fraler has a B.S. in Economics from Rutgers University and an MBA from the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University.
Christy Sadler
Senior Partner & Founder
Mr. Sadler has over 30 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions advisory and private equity/leveraged buyouts. A significant portion of this experience was spent with companies in the building industry, including roofing fastener manufacturing, hardwood flooring manufacturing and tile, stone and decorative glass distribution.
Mr. Sadler has been a General Partner at various private equity/buyout firms including Palladium Equity Partners, Saugatuck Capital Company and Dubin Clark & Company. Mr. Sadler began his career at General Electric Company and spent 5 years in the Mergers & Acquisition Department of KPMG Peat Marwick.
Mr. Sadler has an MBA in Finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Urban Studies from Brown University.
Carrie Meek
Chief Growth Officer & Partner
Ms. Meek has over 15 years of building products experience as a former private equity portfolio company director, a family business owner and operator, and client of Anchor Peabody. Her family’s business, Meek’s Lumber and Hardware, was sold as a platform investment by Anchor Peabody to Angeles Equity Partners and Clearlake Capital in 2018, in what would become to be known as American Construction Source (ACS). ACS was sold to US LBM Holdings in 2021.
In her role as Chief Growth Officer, Ms. Meek is tasked with helping the firm build its brand, general awareness, and expand into new sub-verticals of building products. She plays an integral role in supporting our transaction teams via her oversight of industry-specific marketing efforts, and the recruiting of new talent to the Anchor Peabody platform.
Ms. Meek has a BS in Management and Finance from Georgetown University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.

Chobun Hieblinger
Managing Director
Mr. Hieblinger has over 17 years of financial advisory and investment banking experience, with the bulk of that in building products. After attending The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania for his MBA, Mr. Hieblinger joined Lehman Brothers (now Barclays Investment Bank) in their Global Industrials Group in New York City. Following Barclays Investment Bank, Mr. Hieblinger joined RBC Capital Markets in their Global Industrials Group executing M&A, leveraged buyout, and financing transactions for building products companies. Most recently, Mr. Hieblinger was Managing Director and Head of Building Products at B. Riley Securities in Los Angeles.
Aaron Toomey
Managing Director
Mr. Toomey has over 12 years of financial advisory and investment banking experience, with the bulk of that in Building Products. Mr. Toomey started his finance career with Goldman Sachs. After attending the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for his MBA, Mr. Toomey joined J.P. Morgan in their Mergers and Acquisitions Group in New York City. Following J.P. Morgan, Mr. Toomey joined SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (now Truist Securities) in their industrial M&A group executing M&A transactions for building products and services companies. Mr. Toomey became Vice President of Building Products Investment Banking following the merger of SunTrust and BB&T.
In addition to his MBA from the University of Chicago, Mr. Toomey has a BA in Economics from Washington and Lee University.
Greg Hicks
Business Development Director
Mr. Hicks has nearly 20 years of investment banking, principal investing, and corporate development experience, having focused primarily on building products and general industrials. Mr. Hicks began his professional career with Lincoln International in Chicago, with stints in Frankfurt and London. Following Lincoln, he helped found Desco Capital, a private equity / family office. He then ran Alesco Holdings, an outsourced business development firm, and most recently led M&A for W.W. Williams, one of the nation’s largest industrial distribution, repair and service companies.
Mr. Hicks graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, with High Distinction, and degrees in Finance and Operations Management.
Joe McKeon
Vice President
Mr. McKeon joined Anchor Peabody in 2021 as an Associate focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other financing advisory services.
Prior to joining Anchor, Mr. McKeon was part of Lutz & Company’s M&A group providing advisory services to lower middle-market clients. Prior to working at Lutz, Mr. McKeon was an Associate in Robert W. Baird’s Technology & Services Investment Banking practice based in Milwaukee, WI. Mr. McKeon began his career in risk management at First National Bank of Omaha, a commercial bank in Omaha, NE. Mr. McKeon received his MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a BSBA in Economics from Saint Louis University.
Wade Bennett
Vice President
Mr. Bennett joined Anchor Peabody in 2022 as a Vice President focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) as well as other financial advisory services. Prior to joining Anchor Peabody, Mr. Bennett worked for Dinan Capital Advisors, a boutique investment bank specializing in sell-side M&A within the healthcare and technology sectors.
Prior thereto, Mr. Bennett worked as an Analyst in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs & Co. Mr. Bennett began his career with KPMG Corporate Finance – Denver (f.k.a. St. Charles Capital) focusing on M&A and other financial advisory services across the industrials, technology and consumer products industries. Mr. Bennett holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Corporate Finance from the University of Denver.
John Gould
Associate
Mr. Gould joined Anchor Peabody in 2022 as an Associate focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other financing advisory services. Prior to joining Anchor, Mr. Gould was a Senior Associate at Northstar Capital, a private equity firm based in Minneapolis, where he was a generalist investor focused on underwriting debt and equity investments across the lower middle market. Mr. Gould began his career as an Analyst with Minneapolis-based investment bank Piper Jaffray in the diversified industrials and services group. Mr. Gould received his BA in Financial Management from the University of St. Thomas.
Chris Adkins
Associate
Mr. Adkins joined Anchor Peabody in 2022 as a Senior Analyst focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other financing advisory services. Prior to joining Anchor, Mr. Adkins was an Associate at RMK Capital, a maritime-focused investment bank, where he advised clients on capital raises and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to RMK, Mr. Adkins was a Finance and Strategy Manager at Magnetar Capital, an alternative asset manager in Evanston, IL. Mr. Adkins was also the Head of Debt Sales at Avant and an Associate at Charles River Associates. Mr. Adkins received his MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago and his BS in Finance from Indiana University.
Aneesha Pidara
Senior Analyst
Ms. Pidara joined Anchor Peabody in 2023 as a Senior Analyst focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other financing advisory services. Prior to joining Anchor Peabody, Ms. Pidara worked as a Senior Analyst at Citigroup where she advised clients in the industrials space. Ms. Pidara received her BA in Economics from Northwestern University.
Nick Goetz
Analyst
Mr. Goetz joined Anchor Peabody in 2023 as an Analyst focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other financing advisory services. Prior to joining Anchor, Mr. Goetz was an Analyst at Colliers Securities, a real estate-focused investment bank, where he advised clients on both public debt and equity offerings as well as private M&A transactions and venture financing. Mr. Goetz received his BA in Financial Management from the University of St. Thomas.
